Heroes of the pandemic
Grupo Hortofrutícola Paloma was recognized by the City Council of Mazarrón with one of the Heroes of the Pandemic awards at a Gala held on September 17.
In it, Juan Hernández Navarro, our CEO, received this award for the great contingency method carried out in our company and for the assistance provided to the authorities from the first minute of the pandemic. Special recognition for having ceded our facilities to carry out the mass vaccinations, having turned one of our warehouses into a large vaccination center, providing comfort to all health workers and its users.
Juan Hernandez wanted to take the opportunity to thank the 2,000 workers of the Group for all the effort made during all those difficult times. In addition, he recalled the Mazarrón origin of the founders of the company and the current owners, with Grupo Paloma always being at the disposal of the municipality of Mazarrón for whatever it needed.
